Revealed in Madinah, Surah At-Taghabun (The Mutual Disillusion) describes the Day of Judgment as a day of mutual loss and gain, where the true believers will find success and the rejecters will face regret. It urges the believers to remain patient through trials, warning that spouses and children can sometimes be trials that distract from faith, while promising a great reward to those who spend in the path of God with a goodly loan.

The Day when He gathers you for the Day of Gathering—that is the Day of Mutual Exchange. Whoever believes in God and acts with integrity, He will remit his misdeeds, and will admit him into gardens beneath which rivers flow, to dwell therein forever. That is the supreme achievement
Explains the title 'At-Taghabun' (The Day of Mutual Loss and Gain): on Judgment Day, the true economic and spiritual balance sheet of human history is unveiled. Deniers realize with horror the eternal paradise they permanently lost, while the righteous witness the divine reward and relief they gained.

O you who believe! Among your wives and your children are enemies to you, so beware of them. But if you pardon, and overlook, and forgive—God is Forgiver and Merciful
Revealed when certain Meccan men embraced Islam and prepared to migrate to Medina, but their fearful wives and children wept, clung to them, and pleaded with them not to leave. When those men finally migrated years later and saw how far ahead other companions were in faith and learning, they felt bitter anger toward their families; God commanded them to forgive, pardon, and restore family harmony.
Transliteration
Innama amwalukum waawladukum fitnatun waAllahu AAindahu ajrun AAatheemun
Translation
Your possessions and your children are a test, but with God is a splendid reward
Identifies wealth and children as a subtle spiritual test ('Fitnah'): loving family and financial success are natural, but they must never become idols that compel a person to compromise moral boundaries or commit financial corruption.

Balances religious duty: commands believers to practice God-consciousness to the utmost of their personal ability ('Ma istata'tum'), confirming that God never demands the impossible, while emphasizing that overcoming inner greed and stinginess ('Shuhh') is the prerequisite for true spiritual success.
